Latin America
Coffee from this area varies greatly in cup characteristics and quality. From light body and acidity in Mexican offerings to wonderfully complex heavier bodied Guatemalan offerings, Latin American coffee is a great place to start your coffee exploration. Also great for blending, you will find Latin American components in many of our blends.
Africa
From the birthplace of coffee in Ethiopia to the incredible coffees from Kenya, coffee from these two areas have very notable citrus tones in their cups. Other well known coffees are Ethiopian Harrar, which tends to have dynamic blueberry overtone, and Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, which tends to have very nice floral notes in each cup.
Indonesia
Coffee from this area tends to be very earthy and full bodied. A classic from this growing region is Sumatra. India produces a wonderful coffee called Monsooned Malabar. This coffee is harvested and then stored in open warehouses during the monsoon season. The moisture absorbed gives the coffee a yellow coloring and a nice heavier body that is characteristic of aged beans.
